The Mountain of Mother of God
For centuries the Mountain of Mother of God has represented a goal of a large number of pilgrims who have sought to strengthen their faith through a deeper meeting with God and with Jesus’ Mother. The attendance of masses at this place of pilgrimage should equal peace and renewal of everyone’s life.
The Mountain of Mother of God is considered a monument of outstanding artistic merit. Its history, architecture and interior have attracted a variety of tourists originating from both the Czech Republic and abroad for years. The short guide offers the possibility to know more about this holy place and its surroundings.
If you wanted to spend more days with us, you could stay in the House of Pilgrimage, which is a part of the complex of pilgrimage. You might enjoy the beauty of the nature as well as the atmosphere of places of tourist interests either in summer or in winter.
There is a site of a mission team of the Redemptorists who arranges retreats, so-called parish missions, i.e. a programme of spiritual renewal of parishes, and publishes spiritual or pastoral publications.
In the shop, which is also a part of the complex, you can buy diverse souvenirs, objects of pilgrimage, religious literature, etc. In addition, guide services are offered as well.
